LTE  Upgrade Project, Boston,MA and San Anonio, TX                                              Sep’11- Jun’12

RF Drive Tester

Verizon /Alcatel-Lucent Technologies.

 

·         Worked for Verizon in Boston,MA and San Antonio, TX, market for LTE Ugrades.

·         Worked with RF Testing and optimizing team at ALU command center on Verizon wireless(LTE/4G Data)project for Collection of Cluster Drive Test data generated using tools such as LLDM, Filezilla and Gyro.

·         Checked data throughput of upload/download of sectors, and performed softer handoff tests between sectors (Alpha, Beta and Gamma) of the site being worked on.

·         Handover verification including intra and inter handover within defined clusters.

·         Worked on ANR Configuration on eNBs.

·         Collected data during Inter-eNB and Intra-eNB HO under typical load for defined route and moniter Handover success.

·         Done S1 and X2 Handover Testing.

RF Drive Tester

Responsibilities:

 

·       Used the Latest LGE LTE UE.

·       Used the tools like LLDM, Connection Manager, Winds.

·       Done sector testing  and mobility testing.

·       For each sector, check the SNR and start the test with the help of winds or command prompt. So that we can see the uplink or downlink throughputs on LLDM.

·       Responsible for cluster and market acceptance drive testing to resolve optimization issues.

·       Lead the effort to prepare drive testing routes to cover all LTE Cell sites and major roads within the sub cluster

·       Verification of neighboring lists was done by checking the handoffs between the neighboring sites.

·       Tested throughput for downloading (FTP Request) and uploading (FTP Send) of  data.

·       Comparision drive test for LG UE and SIERRA UE.

·       Duties involve network verification performed on per site basis for network Handover form LTE to UMTS.

RF Drive Tester

·       Handover performance, drop calls testing, sector coverage and link budget study testing.

·       Used LGE LTE tools like   LTE connection manager, LTE scanner.

·       Responsible for field testing, Downlink and Uplink throughput verification.

·       Involved in Voice over IP testing.

·       Handover verification including intra and inter handover within defined clusters.

·       Involved in uplink loading by setting up IOT (Interference over Thermal).

·       Doing  Hand Over tests like driving around the eNodeB touching each sector of that eNodeB.

·       Used Agilent Scanner to check the cell id’s of eNodeB.

·       Troubleshooting of Hardware and Software on field due to unexpected errors while  ongoing process of Data Collection.
